Another regular reader writes…

“I’ve become aware through your posts about the 2020 conjunction.  I did the chart for 12 January 2020 when Saturn and Pluto are conjunct at 22 Capricorn, conjunct my natal Moon by less than 1 degree of sensitivity.  Should I be concerned?!  That looks like a very potent … something.”

Well, if there’s any astroevent that folks almost universally report to be max nasty, it’s Pluto (in the Sky now/then) crossing your natal Moon.  Ask Fernanda, who’s just been through it…

So you’ve got a little over three years to Learn to Be Totally Loving with All Possible Emotions – should be Easy, right?  Your Pluto-Moon Can-Opener will be almost a month later, but your Saturn-Moon Can-Opener is only a couple of days after the Pluto-Saturn Initiation, so The Most Important Thing (Saturn) for you, for a while before Pluto actually does the deed, will be Learning to…

10/22 Horoscope

Katie Turner - Know Your Vibes Astrology

Something unexpected may have come up overnight. In the morning your mind may be feeling a little off. Don’t push anything. There may be some clashes between ego and emotions, so watch out. A little after noon, the emotional air shifts to focus more on fun and the self. Do something creative, maybe with a friend or partner. Later, the spotlight shifts for the first time in four weeks from relationships and harmonizing with others to intimacy, shadow sides, and hidden psychology. What needs healing in you? If you don’t already know, be prepared to find out. Things may be intense, so just practice letting go as best you can.

A Neptune Affair; you are the dream and I am the dreamer

In another life he could have been mine I suppose all of his planets fall in my 7th house and 3 of mine fall in his. Perhaps that is why I had to know him. The 7th house is what you seek in a mate and a part of me felt like wow there you are.  This vague I am so comfortable to be here with you.

I see him through this film this kaleidoscope of colors. I think he is beautiful

I have had this song on repeat for a minute

I was reading a book that said our combined energies is a “gossamer fabric” very beautiful and delicate, light and ethereal.

Neptune is the planet of dreams, addictions, escapism; it rules what you don’t see it over sees fantasies and all things magical.  Neptune eludes, deludes and is evasive. Now you see him now you don’t…

Life is a dream

Wandering soul yogi becoming

Awake I thought I was and yes I felt it that way

While awake I was in a sleep and sleeping while been awake

In the sleep she came as a dream and in dream she loved me

She loved me kissed me but I was in a sleep and dream it was

Asleep I was thinking I am awake and felt she was mine

She was mine and I was her awake, but I was in sleep and dream it was

Dream got over and she was not there, awake I felt though I was sleeping

I started crying as a child whose toy is lost, dream I thought as reality

My fault it was I woke up from sleep and lost her

But now I see it was a beautiful dream I saw and in dream she was mine not in reality

Dream got over as I woke…

Dreams Review

Georgia Goes Global

There was an interview on RNZ that caught my attention.  Auckland composer Claire Cowan talked about the group she’d founded, Blackbird Ensemble and their upcoming show ‘Dreams’ at the Auckland Cabaret Festival.  Along with some of the Ensemble members, Claire explained what Cabaret actually was (which I’d always envisioned as something in-between burlesque and drag) as more of a ‘Switzerland’ of artistic styles.

While Blackbird Ensemble normally has a rotating cast of up to 25 people, ‘Dreams’ was a smaller production created by just 9 musicians, and more of a collaborative, band feel.  The show’s description promised an exploration of music ‘inspired by our subconscious minds, dream states, nightmares, lullabies and rituals of the bedroom.’  It sounded like something cool to say I’d done on the weekend, so, I did the sensible thing and got free reviewers tickets (thanks Craccum).

I’d never been to a Cabaret before, and I know…

Kai Raine: Author

It’s 10pm and I have to be up by 5 tomorrow for a day filled with 6 hours of driving and a hike with my sister. Clearly, I should be sleeping. Insomnia is an uncompromising mistress, unfortunately.

I just finished a novel this week and am awaiting feedback on my query letter and synopsis before I start sending them off. I’m not quite ready to immerse myself in another project just yet, in part because I change my mind from one day to the next as to what I want to write next.

So instead I decided to blog about uncertainty.

Life, for me, has always been about uncertainty. They say that “life is what happens while you’re making other plans,” and that’s been absolutely true in my case. In fact, almost every time I’ve had a concrete plan of how I would live, something happened that blew it to…
